Our journey began in 2019 with a passion for crafting Montessori climbing toys, including the iconic triangle, inspired by Emmi Pikler, arch, and ramp. What started with a few pieces has grown into a collection designed to bring more movement, joy, and growth into everyday family life.
At Wood&Hearts, we believe every child deserves a home that helps them thrive. That’s why our mission is simple: to make every home a better place for children to grow. Each piece we create supports healthy physical development and encourages independence — crafted with Montessori principles at heart, but made for every family that values childhood as a time of discovery and wonder.
The inspiration behind our products comes from my own children, whose playful spirit and curiosity fuel our commitment to designing pieces that are safe, functional, and beautiful. We believe every child deserves access to toys and furniture that spark exploration and nurture independence.
That’s why we put great care into every detail — from carefully selecting trusted suppliers to dedicating time and craftsmanship to each design. Our promise is simple: to bring families the highest quality pieces that make childhood healthier, happier, and full of growth.
We take pride in using only the finest materials. Every Wood&Hearts piece is crafted in Ukraine from high-quality, FSC-certified birch plywood and beech wood. To ensure safety for both children and the planet, we finish our products with eco-friendly coatings.
Our commitment to safety and reliability is proven by the CE and CPC certifications we’ve earned through rigorous testing. But beyond standards and certificates, what truly defines us is our dedication. Even in the face of challenges, we continue to create with care, proud to be Ukrainians who pour heart and skill into every piece we make.
Our team is the heart of Wood&Hearts. Today, more than 300 skilled craftspeople bring our designs to life, while nearly 50 dedicated team members in sales, marketing, and customer care work behind the scenes to ensure every family’s experience with us is smooth, supportive, and personal.
